Hamax: From a stagnating campaign to 148% sales growth

Challenge

Hamax Norway manufactures and sells premium bike trailers, typically priced between NOK 7,000–15,000. These are considered purchases, not impulse buys, which makes marketing communication particularly demanding.

In August, Hamax found themselves stuck in a campaign that wasn’t delivering as expected. With the season coming to an end and a limited media budget, they needed results — and fast.

After several successful collaborations in the past, Hamax reached out to Trickle to help turn the situation around.

Solution

To reverse a declining campaign, we had to prioritize what would generate the greatest impact in the shortest time.

We chose to concentrate efforts on Meta, a channel that allowed for precise targeting and continuous optimization, even within a limited budget. The strategy was built on three key actions:

  • Precise audience insight: Young families with a need for flexible and practical transport solutions.
  • Systematic testing: Ad formats, messaging and visuals were continuously tested and refined to identify what actually drove sales.
  • Continuous optimisation: Close monitoring and rapid adjustments ensured maximum return and measurable results in a short time frame.

With a clear strategy and close follow-up, we achieved a strong turnaround, in a product category where results are typically more demanding to capture.
