Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Social and Programmatic Gothenburg, Stockholm

About the role

The role of Digital Marketing Specialist is a core part of what Trickle delivers. You’re expected to take operational and proactive ownership – driving projects forward, optimizing digital channels and contributing to the development of both our clients and our ways of working. You work closely with clients and colleagues alike, and you’re an important ambassador for the quality of our delivery.

Your role means being the driving force in campaign work and channel decisions – with a data-driven approach and a solid understanding of the client’s business. You develop strategies and tactics based on the client’s goals and objectives, but always with the ambition to challenge them.

What we’re looking for: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in paid social – ideally in an agency context where you’ve managed multiple clients and channels in parallel – and where programmatic buying has been a natural part of your toolkit.

What you'll actually do

Campaigns & delivery

  • Plan, execute and optimize campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant channels
  • Plan, execute, optimize and manage programmatic buys in platforms such as AdForm, BidTheatre and others
  • Work operationally with media planning, implementation, tracking and analysis – from setup to final reporting
  • Drive continuous, data-backed improvement through ongoing A/B testing
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and reporting in close dialogue with clients and account leads
  • Work in line with the overarching strategy to ensure impact and relevance

Specialist expertise

  • Stay sharp on platform changes, algorithm updates and new ad solutions within paid social and programmatic
  • Understand how paid and organic efforts work together – and use that actively in channel strategy and budget allocation
  • See how your work influences adjacent disciplines like paid search and content – and factor that into your planning

Collaboration & internal development

  • Act as a sparring partner for colleagues within and beyond your own team
  • Share insights and learnings from client work and channel tests
  • Actively contribute to improving workflows and internal processes
  • Participate in onboarding of new colleagues within your area of expertise when needed
  • Get involved in pitch and upsell work – primarily upsell, but new business when needed
  • Provide input to scoping and offering work

Client dialogue & advisory

  • Work closely with clients and act as an advisor within your areas of responsibility – you push back when needed
  • Visualize results and insights in a clear, pedagogical way through dashboards and presentations
  • Proactively identify improvement potential and put concrete recommendations on the table
  • Participate in meetings, presentations and ongoing dialogue with the client team

You're the right fit if you

  • Have at least 4 years of hands-on experience working operationally with paid social – agency background preferred
  • Have worked actively with programmatic and see it as a natural part of your skill set – not a side discipline
  • Are comfortable owning the full flow – from strategy and implementation to reporting and recommendations
  • Are data-driven at your core, but understand that numbers need to be interpreted and communicated – not just reported
