About the role
The role of Digital Marketing Specialist is a core part of what Trickle delivers. Organic search is your home turf: you make sure our clients get found, whether their customers are googling or asking AI tools like ChatGPT.
You take operational and proactive ownership: driving projects forward, improving our clients’ organic visibility and contributing to the development of both our clients and our ways of working. You work closely with clients and colleagues, and you’re an important ambassador for the quality of our delivery.
You develop SEO and GEO strategies based on the client’s business goals, always with the ambition to challenge them. Your focus is on the traffic, leads and sales that search drives, not just rankings. Experience with paid search is a plus, since the best search strategies combine organic and paid, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to develop that side too.
What we’re looking for: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SEO. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You’ll grow into the team, take on more responsibility over time and develop into a senior specialist, with experienced colleagues to learn from along the way.
What you'll actually do
SEO & GEO
- Work with SEO both technically (crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site structure, sitemaps) and strategically (keyword and search intent analysis, content gaps, internal linking)
- Help clients become visible in AI-driven search, through structured content, authority signals and an understanding of how language models find and cite sources
- Run SEO audits and turn findings into prioritized, concrete action plans
- Work closely with clients’ content and web teams to make sure recommendations actually get implemented
- Follow up on organic performance and connect it to business outcomes, not just traffic
Beyond organic
- Support and, over time, take ownership of search campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and other relevant channels
- Understand how paid and organic search work together, and use that actively in channel strategy and budget decisions
- Have a solid understanding of tracking and attribution: what’s being measured, why, and how it affects your decisions
- See how your work influences adjacent disciplines like CRM, content and UX, and factor that into your planning
Client dialogue & advisory
- Work closely with clients as an advisor within your areas of responsibility, and push back when needed
- Explain SEO and GEO in a clear, pedagogical way through dashboards, reports and presentations
- Proactively identify improvement potential and put concrete recommendations on the table
- Participate in meetings, presentations and ongoing dialogue with the client team
Collaboration & internal development
- Act as a sparring partner for colleagues within and beyond your own team
- Share insights and learnings from client work, tests and changes in the search landscape
- Contribute to improving workflows and internal processes
- Get involved in pitch and upsell work, primarily upsell, but new business when needed
You're the right fit if you
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with SEO, in-house or at an agency
- Are curious about how AI is changing search, and want to be part of shaping how brands stay visible
- Are data-driven, but understand that numbers need to be interpreted and communicated, not just reported
- Are comfortable explaining technical topics to people who aren’t technical
- Want to grow. You take ownership of your development and aren’t afraid to ask questions along the way
- Are fluent in Swedish and proficient in English
- Bonus: experience with paid search
What we offer
- Highly engaged colleagues and clients, and a fast-paced learning environment where you’ll sharpen your skills from day one
- A clear path to grow: experienced SEO and paid search colleagues who share what they know, and room to take on more as you develop
- Competitive salary, pension scheme, collective agreement, incentive program and perks
- Flexibility to work from partner offices across the Nordics
- Your own pick-and-choose tech stack – you need it, it’s yours
- Dedicated time for learning and side projects that help evolve both you and Trickle
