About the role
The Team Lead role is a key position at Trickle, responsible for leading and supporting a team in their daily work and long-term development. This team spans a mix of specialist roles — Paid social/Programmatic Specialists, SEM Specialists, Tracking & analytics Specialists and Client & Business Developers — working together across Trickle’s client roster.The role combines people leadership with continued hands-on work within your own specialist area: roughly 40% is dedicated to people management and internal responsibilities, while 60% is client-related work. It requires a strong personal engagement in Trickle’s overall growth and development as a company.
What you'll actually do
Team leadership & people development
- Act as the immediate manager for the people in your team and support their professional development.
- Develop and follow up on individual development plans together with each team member.
- Hold regular one-on-ones and be a present, everyday leader.
- Run annual salary conversations and drive the team’s salary review process.
Resource planning & economy
- Own your team’s utilization, both on an individual and group level.
- Follow up on the team’s budget, forecast and time reporting.
- Plan project resourcing together with Trickle’s other Team Leads.
- Build a solid understanding of project profitability and how your team affects it.
Process & quality
- Make sure internal and external processes are followed within your team.
- Contribute to developing more effective ways of working.
- Help ensure Trickle delivers at the cutting edge in every part of the work.
Culture, recruitment & communication
- Actively help build and strengthen Trickle’s culture, living our values: transparent, trustworthy, unpretentious and inclusive.
- Run weekly team meetings and foster an open, motivating work environment.
- Take part in recruitment processes, plan and support onboarding for new colleagues.
- Represent Trickle to your team when needed, anchoring decisions from leadership and bring your team’s perspective back to leadership.
You're the right fit if you
- Have solid experience within a specialist area — Paid social, programmatic, SEM, tracking, or client & business development — ideally from an agency environment.
- Have previous experience leading, managing, or mentoring others, whether formally or informally.
- Enjoy combining hands-on client work with people leadership, and can balance both without losing momentum on either.
- Are structured and comfortable owning budgets, forecasts and resource planning.
- Are a proactive, trustworthy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
